Olympic Finish
Up until the final day, there was some controversy over who the real leader of the Olympics was. Some said the US because they had the most medals. Others said that the honor was China’s, who had the most gold medals.
Now that the final ceremony is over and all the medals have been counted, there is no debate. With the most gold, silver, and bronze medals, the US dominated the last few days of the games to ensure everyone knew who was number one.
With 39 golds, 41 silvers, and 33 bronzes, totaling 113, the US blew away the competition, with China having the second most medals at 88.
