Are Billionaires Bad?

*For the purposes of this article, when I say average, I will mean the median number or the most frequently appeared number to try and reduce any outliers. 

 What if I told you that if you gave every person in Philadelphia the average American net worth, it still would not be as much as Jeff Bezos. With a net worth of 193 billion dollars, Jeff Bezos has the equivalent of 1.6 million Americans.

There are just over 200 million Americans that are of working age, meaning that half of working Americans have COMBINED net worth of just over 12 trillion. So if you were to add up the net worth of the top nine wealthiest Americans, you would already be over what half of America makes.

 The top nine wealthiest Americans are Jeff Bezos with a net worth of 193 billion, Elon Musk with 186 billion, Mark Zuckerberg with 134 billion, Bill Gates with 132 billion, Larry Page with 123 billion, Sergey Brin with 119 billion, Larry Ellison with 116 billion, Warren Buffet with 104 billion, and Steve Ballmer with 96 billion.
